Nissan Leaf is the first electric car with the range approved in compliance with The Worldwide Harmonised Light Vehicle Test Procedure (WLTP) protocol.

Having chance for test driving of that car, I was amazed how smooth the drive could be and how fast the car can accelerate. As in electric cars the torque is available from zero – the acceleration is immediate! At the same time the car is very stable thanks to a low-placed center of gravity (I tested it in demanding track conditions – lots of bends and accompanying strong wind).
